Pumpkin Patch

I made my way to the great pumpkin patch in South Carolina this weekend. While I was there I got to roll around in the hay while teaching Miles about pumpkins. After my hay day I noticed that there was some clucking going on in the apple orchard so I went to get a closer look with my cousin Clarissa (who was visiting with Aunt Pam) and there were chickens everywhere. I got some corn to feed them and they came right up to me but Momma was having a moment so I had to get away from them. This was OK because I was finished with the chickens and ready to make my pumpkin selection. Shortly after that I made my way to the wagon to play with the wagon wheel. Daddy told me it was time to go home I was sad to leave all of the fun things at the pumpkin patch. So when I got home I put Daddy in the dog house!

Potty Training - NAAAsty.

I have been so busy lately that I have not had time to let everyone know what I have been up to these days. Mainly because I learning how to use the potty. I for some reason am not allowed to go upstairs when I have panties on because Momma says she will not be able to find out where I peed if I pee on the floor. However sometimes I get to go upstairs if I am under strict supervision. Potty training means you have to run really fast because if not you might have an accident. I have been making sure to keep Daddy on his toes with this process since he only gets to enjoy it a few hours a day. I will just say that it is NAAAAsty and leave it at that!

My Brudder

Finally-- NO MORE trips to the hospital! What a relief! I am so glad that I do not have to ride in the car to the hospital any more to see Miles. Now I just go over to his bed to check on him. On his first day home I wanted Momma to take care of Eva and Lulu (my dolls) just like she takes care of Miles. Can you tell which on is my Brudder?
For Miles' homecoming I asked Momma if we could chalk on the sidewalk to welcome him home and we did. I am proud of our finished product.

We had Nana come and stay with us to help out with Miles being home. Nana and I did more playing with than she did with Miles. We had lots of fun and everyday I still ask for Nana. I really miss her.
Taking care of Miles requires alot of checking on him at different times to make sure he is not sleeping. Momma and Daddy continually say leave your brother alone and easy. I do not know why they think I am bothering him I just want to see his eyes.

Watering the flowers

I have been busy while Momma and Daddy have been going to the hospital to see Miles. I have had to start doing some of the work that Daddy does like watering the flowers and grass.I also make sure to help Momma with the laundry and the dishes but sometimes she gets frustrated with the methods I use to I prefer to help Daddy. I hope that Miles gets to come home soon so I can help with him because that will me much more fun for me.

Baking with Aunt Christilynn

Aunt Christilynn thought that it would be a good idea to bake a cake for Momma's birthday. Little did she know that I like to be 'in control' in the kitchen especially when baking. When you combine a non-baker (Aunt Christilynn) with a baker (me) you get into some personality conflicts but I of course won!
The finished product!

MY BROTHER IS HERE!

Since moving there has been alot of strange things going on around my house. I got to go on an impromptu play date with Molly (my new friend) and then when I got back from my play date my brother Miles was at the hospital with Momma. Only he was in a different place than she was because he was born so early. That night I got to see him for just a second and then I went home with Nanna, Papa and Aunt Pam. Then Aunt Christilynn came to visit, while she was here I got to play in the pillows of the couch.

The strange things that are going on are going to stop sooner or later. Like Momma and Daddy going to see Miles every night. Momma keeps telling me she is going to work when she leaves during the day, but she is not working so I really do not understand why she tells me this. I will be glad when Miles gets to come home so I can hold him and take care of him.

Nanny Hanna's Visit

Nanny Hanna came to visit me for the first time this summer in our new house. She helped keep up with me while the movers unloaded all of our furniture. We even had matching outfits on moving day which was not planned! Aren't we cute!
Here I am trying out the new bike my Nanny got for me. Ever since I got it I make sure I ride it at least once a day. It is alot of fun riding my big red trike!

Happy Birthday to ME

Well I am finally 2 with that comes lots of surprises - mainly waking up from your nap and the 'Birthday Fairy' came to visit. I don't really know who the Birthday Fairy is but there has been alot of talk about her coming to take my Nunu's (pacifiers). Therefore I am not to sure about this person. However she has not come to take them just yet because of our move from Charleston SC to Fort Mill SC. There were lots of presents for me to open when I finished my dinner.
I went to the pool with Papa, Nanna, Aunt Jenna and of course Momma and Daddy. I was having alot of fun getting tossed in the air from Daddy to Papa. It was my very last weekend in Charleston so we went to the farmers market to ride the pony too. That was alot of fun as well, I didn't want to get off of the pony.

National Ice Cream Day

In honor of National Ice Cream Day on July 20th it was necessary to go to Baskin Robbins to get ice cream. In case you happen to miss out you have until the end of the month to celebrate National Ice Cream month.
On the way to get ice cream Momma told me that Uncle Johnny loved to sing the ice cream song and it goes like this: I scream, you scream we all scream for ice cream! That is the only part Momma knew so she kept singing it over and over, it was driving me and Daddy crazy. When we got to Baskin Robbins I got to pick out the flavor I liked with the help of Daddy because he knows which ones I like best. We picked out chocolate chip cookie dough and boy was it finger lickin' good.
I am glad that Momma was watching the news this weekend and found out about this special day. I think every year we should celebrate this day at Baskin Robbins! Momma agrees because Baskin Robbins has her favorite ice cream flavor.

Makin' Salad

I may not like to eat vegetables but I sure do like to help prepare them especially when I get to cut up lettuce for salad. I have mastered this task quite well knowing that it is very important to take small bites I like to tear the lettuce up really small for salad.

My Momma had to give everyone a disclaimer about red fingernail polish being in the salad. Just in case they had a little bit of red nailpolish in there salad from my fingers. Everyone laughed and said it was ok because I helped!

Back to the beach

Our days in Charleston are winding down therefore we must make the most of being 20 minutes from the beach. Last weekend when we went to the beach I would not go very far into the waves without being held. But this weekend I did not even want to hold hands but Momma and Daddy were always close by to lift me up with the waves would come to me to make sure they did not splash salt water in my eyes. The sand is so much fun to play in and dig holes with Daddy. We dug a hole for Daddy to bury me in, it took alot of tries to get it deep enough but we finally did. It was sitting in the whole and helping Daddy dig the sand out for me to be buried in. When it is time to go home I usually let it be known by laying down in the sand. That is a sure cue that I will get to go in the watter one last time before we leave the beach.

Atlanta Adventures

Grandma and PaPa’s house was a lot of fun this trip. When I was supposed to be taking a nap I decided that I should clean out the drawers in the dresser luckily all the gift wrapping stuff was soft to sleep on because eventually I did fall asleep. Grandma found Aunt Jenna’s old wagon and took me for a ride. I like the wagon especially doing to get the mail from the mail box. She even took me to the park where she taught me how to use a see-saw. The main reason for our trip to Grandma and PaPa’s house was for Aunt Jenna’s graduation, I did not get to go but I did get to celebrate at the party the next day. At the party PaPa tried to put a Georgia hat on my head, he finally did but he had to make sure Daddy was not anywhere around.Aunt Ann and Aunt Carol even came all the way from Colorado for the festivities. Grandma was trying to figure out how to hold me and my newest cousin Jackson at the same time but I did not like that situation very much so I got down off of her lap. I did not have a pool to play in so Daddy and Momma made a pool for me. Since I don’t have one at home either Daddy said we could get one before we go home! Yeah he is the best!

My New Orleans Adventure

It has been really busy around here so I am a little late posting about my trip to New Orleans with Momma. We got to stay for a whole week visiting our family. I had a whole lot of fun while I was there going to the ball park to watch my cousins Kalee Jo and Andrew practice and play ball. I learned about gymnastics and dancing while jumping on Kalee Jo's trampoline and while walking on her balance beam. She also taught me the importance of playing dress up.I even got to jump on the trampoline in the rain thanks to Uncle David! That was so much fun but Aunt Sandra and Momma were not to happy about the rain and the trampoline at the same time. I didn't think it was a big deal. My Nanny Hanna took me to play on the playground the most fun was swinging on the tire swing. She even let me help her study for her finals, I must have been good luck because she did good in all of her classes.Of course a trip to New Orleans would not be complete without going to the French Quarter for coffee and donuts. My favorite part of the trip was chasing Cha-Cha around Aunt Sandra's house. She was really hard to catch and I finally caught her on my last day.
